A Agro Guru Institute
Agricultural fields
Established 1999

A quarter century of growing minds.

Agro Guru Institute was born from a simple belief: Indian agriculture needs teachers, not technicians. For 25 years we've combined the patience of farming with the precision of science.

What We Stand For

Four principles that shape every class, every crop, every graduate.

🌱

Sustainability First

Every technique we teach must work with nature, not against it β€” protecting soil, water and biodiversity for the next generation.

🀝

Hands-On Learning

80% of every program is field and lab time. Students graduate with real skills, not just certificates.

πŸ”¬

Science-Backed

Our methods are validated by partnerships with IARI, agricultural universities, and ongoing research trials on our own farm.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎ

Farmer-First

Every instructor is a working farmer or agronomist. We teach what we practice, daily, on our 200-acre campus.

Our Journey

From 12 acres to 12,000 alumni.

1999

Founded on 12 acres

Started as a small training center for local farmers near Pune, focused on organic methods.

2008

Government Recognition

Received accreditation as a Diploma-granting Agricultural Institute from the state government.

2015

Campus Expansion

Acquired the current 200-acre demonstration farm with greenhouses, labs, and student housing.

2022

Digital & Drone Lab

Launched India's first dedicated precision agriculture lab for smallholder farmers.

2025

12,000+ Alumni

Our graduates manage farms and agribusinesses across 14 Indian states and 6 countries.

Our Campus

200 acres that work as hard as our students.

Our Pune campus isn't a school with a small garden β€” it's a working farm that doubles as our classroom. Rice paddies, dairy herds, orchards, greenhouses, a drone lab, and student hostels share the same 200 acres.

  • 12 demonstration crop zones
  • 8 greenhouses & hydroponic units
  • Working dairy with 80 cattle
  • On-site student housing for 400
  • Dedicated drone & precision-ag lab
